YOUNG MINDS COACHING
Helping young people build confidence, resilience and emotional strength.

Children and teenagers face growing pressure, comparison, uncertainty and emotions they may not yet know how to manage.

Young Minds Coaching gives them a warm, safe and encouraging space to understand what is happening inside them.

Through practical, age-appropriate coaching, they learn how to manage emotions, strengthen confidence and respond to challenges in more helpful ways.

Could coaching support your child or teenager?

Young Minds Coaching may help with:

  • low confidence or self-belief

  • anxiety, stress and overwhelm

  • emotional regulation

  • negative inner dialogue

  • friendship and social challenges

  • school pressure or performance anxiety

  • change, uncertainty or family transitions

  • motivation and direction

  • understanding personal strengths

  • building resilience and problem-solving skills

The goal is not to change who they are.

It is to help them understand themselves and recognise the strength already within them.

HOW IT WORKS

Coaching that feels safe, practical and empowering

Every young person is different.

Sessions are shaped around their age, personality, needs and current challenges.

Rather than lecturing or telling them what to do, I use simple conversations, relatable examples, activities and practical tools.

They learn how to:

  • recognise emotional triggers

  • understand how thoughts affect feelings

  • calm and regulate their body

  • interrupt unhelpful patterns

  • make more confident choices

  • become the leader of their own mind

Individual Young Minds Coaching

Private sessions provide personalised support for the young person and the challenges they are facing.

Depending on their age and needs, parent involvement may include:

  • an initial parent consultation

  • short progress updates

  • guidance on reinforcing tools at home

  • a parent support session where helpful

The young person’s trust and emotional safety remain central throughout the process.

Programme themes may include:

  • understanding emotions

  • building confident inner dialogue

  • managing worry and stress

  • calming the nervous system

  • handling friendship challenges

  • strengthening self-belief

  • making empowered choices

Parent Guidance Sessions

Supporting the adult behind the young person.

Sometimes the most valuable next step is helping the parent better understand what may be driving the young person’s behaviour.

Parent guidance may support you with:

  • responding to strong emotions

  • reducing conflict and power struggles

  • supporting an anxious child

  • building confidence at home

  • reinforcing emotional regulation tools

  • creating clearer communication

SUPPORT NOTE

Coaching supports personal growth, confidence and practical emotional skills.

It does not replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care. Where specialised clinical support may be needed, an appropriate registered professional should be consulted.

Could your child benefit from greater confidence and emotional support?

Book a complimentary parent information session so we can discuss what is happening and whether coaching may be the right fit.
